Hevingham Hall Wings and Wheels

We attended another car show last weekend, this was at Hevingham Hall in Suffolk. A 2 day event at a nice venue and well attended by the public. Phoenix CVC had a couple of cars on show on the Saturday, with 5 cars also attending on the Sunday. A diverse range, from a GT40 replica through to my humble MGTF.

As normal plenty to do here, a 100 or so classic and sports cars to view, light aircraft flying in all day, country crafts on display in the show ring, and the usual food and craft stalls.
We spent an hour or so wandering around the craft and food fairs before lunch, then later walked around the Hall gardens, these are very nicely kept, then we viewed the Orangery where there was flower and vegatable displays(not an orange in sight?)

There was a flying display by a stunt team which my camera cannot do justice to, some good flying and later a display by smaller aircraft, unfortunately the flypast by the Spitfire, Hurricane, and Lancaster was cancelled due to bad weather elsewhere.

I think there where more sports cars on display then classic, with good displays from Club Lotus, Jaguar Owners, and the BMW club, along with many others.

At 3pm events where curtailed by a very heavy storm, so we sheltered under the event shelter before packing up for the drive home. Another good day at a show and we will be back next year.
